ms. sharp as a staff member at my middle school was the best thing a school could ask for because she was always there for the students even when she didn't need to be there for them. her attitude was great even on the bad days she always gave the best advice to all the kids and teachers. she's a good person all around.

"Mama Stacey" I don't think that I can sum up enough words to describe the impact that you have had on my life. Not only in my "little relationship" but in ways you may not even know. For starters it took me until 2010 to truly understand the words that you had engraved on the bracelet that you bought for me. Every time that I come to a "dead-end" situation and have to think about if it will benefit me or not I repeat the words, "REMEMBER YOUR WORTH". Sad to say, I'm still not sure of my worth. I've been through so much and I still go through many things with my son's father & all I do is shake my head and remember the time I had to have counseling in the office with you and Kenny Jo because of drama. You told me that years from that day in 2008 that it was up to me to remain constant in that relationship because there would be a new variable always approaching....YOU WERE SO RIGHT!!!! I often sit back and think about the many variables that have changed but yet I'm still the only one remaining constant. Those two experiences have been life coaching lessons in my life without a doubt. Outside of the relationship area, you have still instilled great lessons in my life. I admire the fight in you, the way that you fought to get your degree; no matter how stressful it became, you still held it down and did the damn thang! Leaving your security (job of many years) and stepping out on faith to make it better for your family and to fulfill your ultimate dreams gives me courage to do the same thing. Thinking back to 2008 you helped write my speech as Valedictorian because I had no clue how to. I couldn't develop a message to send forward but you did. You had my back like you always do. When I left Wayne State University, you didn't judge me like many others did, when I got pregnant with my child you didn't judge me, when I stayed by my son's dad’s side knowing damn well that I should have left him alone in high school, you still didn't judge me. I will forever love you for your unconditional love and support that you have for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Stacey Sharp aka mom. U was like a second mother to me. You helped me at a time I really needed help. U accepted me like I was your own when I was in school trying to hang in the hallways, skipping class. U sat me down and told me the right way to go. You are the main reason I graduated from school ....Today I’m still trying to find a way to thank you for putting me under your wing and helping me. Thank you so much. I love u ma.

Ms. Sharp. I want to first thank you again for coming into my life by way of my son Acue. The first day that he became a student at Ecorse High you were there. You pushed him to do better and to be better. He always speaks highly of you even when you had to be like his second mom. I will never forget you and I truly appreciate you and I thank God for you. You have helped my son make a big change and I am soo proud. That was in 2008. In 2023, he was married and she was right there.

As a former parent from Beech Elementary School, I am writing a letter for Ms. Stacey Sharp. Ms. Stacey Sharp has worked as a parent liaison since my son (Donovin Copeland) entered Beech Elementary in September 2017. Ms. Sharp has held great parent workshops, to educate parents on different subjects that our children was learning. We were able to help our kids study for special tests with the knowledge we gained from the parent workshops. I have participated in many workshops, a lot of the workshops were hands-on where the parents can participate with our children. It helps children and parents interact with each other, which was great because these things may not be done at home. This program and the assistance of Ms. Stacey Sharp, has done its rightful duty in helping me and my children to be more successful and knowledgeable. Having a parent liaison really helped me keep my job. There were times when my child was acting out in class and Ms. Sharp was able to go and help my son get his act together, by speaking with the teacher and leading my son Donovin in the right direction. Ms. Stacey Sharp was a blessing to my family we were very grateful for her services. It's 2024 and she is still a part of our lives.

We met at Ecorse High school. My kids were going there and when I first met you, I knew you were a wonderful person with a big heart. Anytime my kids needed something, you were there for them. You kept them on the right path when they fell off and I will never forget you for that. You are a wonderful person and you make people laugh when they are sad.

CEO & President, Extreme Teaching for Extreme Times
It is with contagious exuberance that we write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Stacey Sharp, an exemplary educator. As a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Teacher Education and as the President and CEO of Extreme Teaching for Extreme Times Educational Consulting, we are honored to chronicle the specifics as to why we believe that Ms. Sharp sets the bar as a transformative leader. The following are the bullet-pointed reasons why we make such high assertions regarding her qualities as an exemplary family liaison/coach/mentor and human being.
Ms. Sharp is a sought after speaker in the fields of positive behavior support, family advocacy, restorative justice, mentoring, leadership and motivation. In EVERY
instance, she has modeled the work of a “true professional”. Her leadership is highly noteworthy in that she models every component of what the research calls a “servant leader”--leading by example and many seek out for solace and advice. She is a “Leader’s Leader” and a Mentor’s Mentor”!
She has been a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator several times at EMU speaking on campus to fledgling student teachers that are in the field of education. The students rave about her skills and how she strategically weaves her personal experiences and professional obligations into a seamless story of perseverance and grit. She has been a speaker and mentor for Kappa Delta Pi International Honor’s Society for Educators at EMU where we both serve as Co-Counselors.
Her professional and human interaction skills, and knowledge are well beyond the norm. She possesses incredible skills in restorative education, coaching, leadership, advocacy and mentoring and is HIGHLY trusted by so many who grace her path. In our many years in education, we can honestly say that the power of Stacey’s personal and professional walk is a testimony to her calling to make a critical difference as an advocate and educator within the lives of so many.

I decided to take life coaching lessons because I felt like my life was spiraling out of control; little did I know I possessed the ability to fix it. All I had to do was change the way I was thinking. Stacey provided me with the tools I needed to change my attitude, how I think, and approach situations. The results are life changing.
Having Stacey for a life coach was amazing! I love the fact that Stacey is “down to earth”; she makes you feel very comfortable. Through my coaching I am now able to focus on what’s best for me and was able to get in touch with my feelings and emotions to be able to understand and control them better.
The counseling Stacey provided helped me to develop a new relationship with myself; one with a better understanding (the next level of knowing yourself). It is work and you have to be responsible to yourself for making change; however, if you are open for change in your life it is a wonderful map. The rewards are endless and worth the effort! You are worth it!

Stacey is one of the most selfless people I know! I had the privilege of serving as the Kappa Delta Pi president and she was one of our amazing co-counselors. During this experience I was able to witness Stacey’s passion for working with students and expressing the upmost support to them. Stacey is a one of a kind individual and is a complete ray of sunshine! I am so unbelievably lucky to have worked alongside of her and will forever cherish her motivation and passion for helping others!

I first met Stacey when I was part of Kappa Delta Pi (an International Honor Society for Future Educators). We were in the middle of Covid / online college and Stacey always brought so much energy and was everyone’s hype person through our zoom meetings. I became President of KDP at Eastern Michigan University and we were finally able to get back to campus to do in person events. Stacey still brought the energy and was always there when I needed help with an event, a boost, or a pick me up. Stacey ended up becoming a Co-Counselor for KDP and provided us with so much wisdom and support!
Stacey’s dedication to youth and especially through WARKEYS is amazing. I’m so lucky to know Stacey and know she’s in my corner!

I'd been in a relationship with my husband for almost 20 years. (Notice I didn't say married for 20..) I loved him with everything in me. But I didn't realize that in me giving him so much of my love, I left very little for myself. You sat for hours and listened to my heartbreaking stories and even tried to help me find a little humor in them. That is until I finally got the strength to re-write my story.
You prayed for me, you laughed with me and on many occasions, Boo, you cried with me. But you did something for me that NO ONE has ever done. You took away my crutch and made me make moves in my life. You said to me "STOP TRYING TO GET OVER IT AND GO THROUGH IT!" (That was my wake-up call.) "You make commitments to your children, you even made commitments to your husband. What commitment are you willing to make to YOURSELF to keep you from being in this space?" I didn't think I would ever answer that question because all I knew was trying to please everybody else. You said those things that were hard for me to hear but guess what? You saved my life. I was dying...literally. And you saved my life.
You helped me to realize that divorce is not the end of the world. It's a second chance at a new beginning. Not many people are given second chances so, Baby, I'mma take it and run with it. Because of you, my sistah, I'm feeling better, walking with my head held a little higher and laughing a little harder. {Hip rollin all day Baaabay! ~inside joke...lol}
I love you my dear. I wish you all the best in your (not new) endeavor and Thank You from the top, side and bottom of my heart. Hmmm. They call it "life coaching"??? They should have just called it Stacey 101 because that's who you are. I LOVE you Stacey!

Middle School Principal
As the principal of Hoover Middle School I have had the pleasure of working closely with Stacey Sharp for 3 years as our behavior interventionist. Stacey consistently demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication in supporting our students with diverse behavioral needs.
During Stacey’s time at Hoover Middle School, she showcased a profound understanding of behavior management strategies and implemented them effectively to foster positive outcomes for our students. She consistently went above and beyond to create individualized behavior plans tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring that they receive the support necessary to thrive academically and socially.
Stacey possesses outstanding communication skills, which she utilized to collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders effectively. She communicated with empathy, professionalism, and clarity, and built strong relationships with the focus on putting kids first!
During her time at Hoover Stacey created a safe and nurturing environment where students felt understood, respected, and supported as they navigated behavioral challenges. Her ability to connect with students on a personal level significantly contributed to their growth and development.
I consider Stacey Sharp a change agent because she played a pivotal role in shaping the future and direction of our school. Her bold vision, creativity, and leadership had a transformative impact on our school culture and contributed significantly to our collective success.
Matthew Hall
Middle School Teacher
Two of the biggest challenges I face as an educator are student behavior and discipline practices. While achieving positive outcomes for each of these lies mostly on the classroom teacher, having an effective behavior interventionist in a supportive role has been critical in my experience. Stacy’s approach was meaningful and tailored to the individual needs of our students and teachers. Stacy has the ability to relate to all students allowing a space where they’re able to have a voice, be heard and feel they matter. Stacy is able to connect with students and bridge the gap between students and teachers in a way that fosters mutual respect. The time spent building relationships and de-escalating situations gave students time to reflect and develop their perspective which allowed them to grow and take personal responsibility. Stacy’s impact on students has had a positive influence on them that continues today. In a lesson I did on Effective Leadership, the students listed ‘Ms. Sharp’ as a significant leader in our school (The Principal and Asst. Principal were the other two). Some of the traits they chose to describe her (as a leader) were: Fair, Honest, Listens well, Sincere, Trustworthy, Compassionate, Inspirational… Ultimately, the role Stacy had on students benefited students as individuals which improved student behavior and changed the trajectory of our school as a whole.

Under Stacey Sharp’s guidance as a Restorative Practice Facilitator and Trainer, I learned the importance of fostering an academic community of both support and repair. Stacey has shown through her work, the passion and commitment she has toward personal growth and collective development. It is by her example, that I have adopted Restorative Practices both personally and professionally. I cannot speak enough to the appreciation I have for having been introduced to Restorative Practices by Ms. Stacey Sharp.

Parent, Colleague, Educator
Mrs. Sharp works hard and is dedicated to the individuals she helps. I had the honor of working with Stacey for four years when she was the Parent Liaison at Beech Elementary School. While walking in the doors of Beech Elementary, she welcomed me with an opened heart and mind without her even knowing anything about my character. I was part of her “bubble” and now I was incorporated in her “positive movement” with her students in which she loved and adored at Beech.
Mrs. Sharp is a wonderful mentor, teacher, educator, co-worker and confidant to all who comes within her amazing grace. She has her own unique way that brings out other individual’s strengths and skills to help get the job done. As I would walk the hallways of Beech, I noticed that Stacey connected with the popular students, busy students, the happy students, sad students, students with some behavioral concerns, and even those students who seemed to go unnoticed because they were super quiet and shy. Her voice reigned within the hallways giving all students a sense of security just knowing she was there for them.
When referencing to the parent connection at Beech Elementary, there was a major deficit of interactions between them and within the school. Mrs. Sharp was unique with her ideas to get the parents involved within the educational community. She facilitated family fun nights, game nights, holiday events, daddy donut day, moms with muffins and so much more to help families break away from their life worries, their cell phones and their social media accounts. She brought to Beech “Family Reunification”. She also wanted the parents to understand that she felt their struggles also. She provided social dance classes for the parents to unwind after a long week of work and homework help for their children. Parents would come and hustle their worries away for hours. She also incorporated the help of any and every person she could by helping families in financial need. She started a food, clothing and hygiene pantry so no child would have to feel bullied, hungry or feel left out. She even assisted me with a few social concerns.
For me, Stacey was a blessing because she encouraged me to run for my first position within my child’s school. She placed my name down to run as President for the Parent Club. She helped me every step of the way, and from her push I volunteered at my child’s school weekly, was involved in parent clubs, PTOs, school events and so much more. However, one thing I must be thankful for is that Mrs. Sharp helped my company, Tutoring Tots, LLC, offer tutoring services at Beech Elementary. We tutored students for over 4 years, even with the changing of principals at Beech. Mrs. Sharp also helped me create a program for low-income students in which the school paid for those services. She is one amazing woman who wear “many, many hats!”
Stacey Sharp will always be an asset to any organization who enlisted her to assist them in any capacity. Her voice is powerful and will be heard. Her communication skills are extraordinary, and she displays them with integrity and professionalism. I challenge you this: that if you hire Mrs. Sharp you will be a witness in watching her work many miracles in helping children, co-workers and the community while incorporating and enhancing your mission statements and goals in everything you place in front of her. She will prevail and make your organization proud.

Simply Phenomenal! Even those words are not enough to describe Stacey Sharp.
The amount of time, compassion and love that she exhibits with her company Warkeys is amazing. Even before its conception, I witnessed Stacey in her element. I knew that she was destined to create a platform that would allow her to reach and assist many more people.
Throughout the years, I have personally benefitted as well as observed Stacey provide encouragement, life skills, love, redirection, resources and tools to help people of all ages overcome life obstacles.
Whether it be a colleague, a student or a community member, through her Warkeys foundation she has provided guidance, mentoring and assistance.
Words are indeed powerful especially when spoken by a powerful woman!

Sybil Suddarth, Family Member
I truly don't know where to start because you mean so much to me and my family. But I'll do my best to make it brief. (Stace, you know my brief...lol)
I can go on for days about your side splitting humor, your infectious smile, even your determination and drive. But the thing that means the most TO ME is your unwavering love and loyalty for your friends and family.
We all have those friends that we can go to when we need to talk whether it be about our kids or relationships. But even those friends you have to "limit" what you say. I'm glad that you are not such a person. Your "hard truths" and your prayers are what saved my life!
Chinetta Smith, Childhood Friend
Stacey, you are so special to everyone. We love you so much. You bring out the best in everybody and God knows your heart.
Let’s go back to when we were in School Three Elementary, when we met. We were in the same class. I remember you winning the spelling bee. You were so smart and I would have never thought we would end up as such close friends and you would be such a great person. We grew up together – long walks, long talks, laughter, tears. I hung out with a lot of people growing up, but I would have never known you would end up being my best friend because you were not into the things I was into.
I remember you used to pray as a young child. You started attending Granny Smith’s church and were always praying. Even as a teen, you would try to encourage me to go to church with you. You taught me how to pray; how to run (because of my asthma and breathing problems). You have always been a wonderful and encouraging person and I could write a book on our journey together as friends.
Even after you lost your mother and grandmother, you still made it through in your right mind. I watched you take care of your little brother, who had ADHD, and now he has graduated high school and college. He respects adults and I know that is because of how he was raised.
You helped me get through losing my grandmother and my oldest child. After losing Marco, I thought my life would be over. You told me it would eventually be alright and that I could get through it. Somehow that made me feel like things would get better.
You are our Oprah and have helped so many people by coaching them through life. I know you have saved my life by being a wonderful best friend. Thank You.
Theresa Peguese, Friend
I have so much good to say about you. I don't know where to start. You are such a beautiful woman of God, Who is lead by Our Lord who instructs you to be a servant for Christ. I can't sum it up on 1 page. You have lifted me at my lowest point and helped me find ME when I was lost. You never brag or boast for what you do, you just do it. I Love You for that. You are an awesome woman of God. A page is not long enough. However I’ll keep it short. You feed the hungry .. comfort the lonely and pray for and with the lost .. you never bear false witness; you are lead and fed by God and it shows .. Love You Sister in Christ! !!! I could go on & on. But most of all THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!!!! GOD BLESS YOU... I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU!!!....
Patricia Cooper, Friend since the Military
What can I say about Stacey? :-) Well, when I look at her qualities I see a lady that’s affectionate, amiable, attentive, available, believable, brave, caring, cheerful, considerate, cordial, discerning, easygoing, empathetic, faithful, forgiving, funny, generous, GORGEOUS, gentle, giving, good listener, heartfelt, honest, humorous, kind, loving, loyal, nice, optimistic, punctual, reliable, responsible, sensitive, sincere, sociable, STRONG, sweet, sympathetic, tactful, thoughtful, trustworthy, truthful, warm-hearted, a winner, and wonderful, just to name a few. True, life has presented her a lot of challenges, but she has been a soldier through it all. I met Stacey while stationed in the military many, many years ago. She felt her mother needed her at home so she left a promising career in the Army to be the rock that her mother, brother and sister needed. That’s the person I know; she puts everyone before herself. I am proud to call her a friend. I remember going through a hard time in my marriage and Stacey was there to say, “Let’s go get him”. I knew she was ride or die even before then. Stacey, doesn’t advocate violence but I know she has her way for standing up for what’s right. I love that about her. I also learned her words are encouraging and if you listen you might learn something. I have total faith and trust in her. She stands strong even if she stands alone.
